Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini Sec-5 hosted the Retail Conclave 2022 with an objective to bring on one platform new-age digital retailers, academicians, industry leaders, and students to deliberate about the transition of retail industry from traditional to digital mode. The prime focus of the Annual Retail Conclave 2022 was to explore the pros and cons of AI and AR implementations in the Indian retail sector.
Undoubtedly, the retail sector has undergone massive developments in the last decade with two key ingredients i.e. AI and AR. In the post pandemic scenario, it is crucial for the students of PGDM (Retail Management) to understand the global technological revolution, and the challenges faced in the integration of AI and AR technology for the budding retailers in India.

As Indian hinterland has shown tremendous growth in terms of consuming FMCG goods, the big question being deciphered at the virtual retail conclave was ‘Have Indian retailers capitalised fully on AI and AR to capture market share globally?’
