How Management Students are learning during Covid19 Lockdown….?

The Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent lockdown has forced schools and colleges across India to temporarily shut and this unprecedented move has created an enormous gap within the education system. As the government took the decision to do the complete lockdown in the country, many management institutions have asked their faculty to do work from home.  Even though the central and state government have been doing their best to provide support for e-learning and online education, yet most of the management institutions have started online classes to help students continue their education while staying at home. This online study is completely a novel learning experience for students. There are many web-based video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts etc. which are being increasingly used by faculty members to conduct classes online. Academicians are also utilizing these platforms for conducting online presentations, project evaluations, internal assessments and many other activities for students. Additionally, faculty mentors have been encouraging students to get enrolled for MOOCs platforms such as NPTEL, Udemy, Courera, Swayam, edX etc. for short-term certification programs in management. Overall, it can be concluded that Covid-19 crisis has not only redefined management education but it has compelled the entire academic fraternity to adopt innovative & technologically driven techniques of imparting education.
